I'm Katie, thanks so much for visiting Sift with Style. I am a wife to a crazy, hippie, mathematics professor and mother to our precious little boy and 150lb. great dane! Our family lives in beautiful, historic Williamsburg, VA where my husband teaches math at William and Mary. I am a stay at home mom working very hard to grow my jewelry business, as well as my blog. I put in hours everywhere I can find them; early in the morning, late at night and every nap time to constantly create new things! I also squeeze in a few hours every weekend at a local coffee shop thanks to my amazing husband!!

I love all things domestic; cooking, sewing, gardening......you name it and I love it, which is where Sift came along! Cooking has always been my hobby, but I "sift" through many domestic things and thought it was only fitting.

I have always loved crafts and making unique items. My tassel jewelry is very special to me, as each and every piece is something I would wear and enjoy. I want everyone who purchases a Sift item to know it was made with love and I enjoy every second of the design process. When I had my son I knew I could not work any longer out of the home but also needed a creative outlet for myself. I started making bracelets for myself and friends, this quickly turned into my Etsy shop and blog and now takes up a good portion of my day.

In other areas of my life, when I'm not chasing a toddler, cooking, cleaning and planning our next meal, I love to catch up on movies or read a good book.
